Coin - Material stolen from the school Lope de Vega worth over 1,300 euros

According to police sources, several individuals have assaulted the educational centre last night. They entered through a Secretary Office window removing the two existing bars.
The public school Lope de Vega of Coin has been the subject of a new robbery last night. Local police said, several individuals entered the premises through a window of the administration area of the building and have removed various materials, valued at 1,300 euros, according to preliminary estimates.
The thieves entered through the window after removing the two protective bars and broke the lighting system to prevent neighbours from seeing them. Inside the school they forced the locks of the three offices where they have taken a laptop, a video camera, projector, mobile phone and chargers.
The director of Lope de Vega School, Raquel Paneque, explained that they realized it this morning after they entered the centre when they saw the two grates lying on the floor. "This is unfortunate because what they have stolen is used as teaching material and the only losers are the students, because in these times of crisis with the low budget that we have it will be complicated to replace them," said the director.
The head of the school, accompanied by the local police chief, explained that there has been a failure of the safety systems, both the alarm and surveillance camera, so responsibilities from the company are to be sought.
In addition the management has brought the relevant demand before the Civil Guard which has started an investigation to track down the thieves. In this action the local police will collaborate to intensify surveillance in public buildings and trouble spots.
