The Department for Family and Social Affairs of the Municipality of Antequera has made available to citizens a new email address to collect specific problems and issues regarding architectural barriers of all kinds: sinbarreras@antequera.es

The Department for Family and Social Affairs of the Municipality of Antequera reports the implementation of an e-mail in which locals can report complaints or shortcomings on possible architectural barriers that are in our town. This is an initiative which seeks to encourage citizen participation to address issues or incidents related to architectural barriers, urban planning, communication or transportation. Just send an email to sinbarreras@antequera.es reporting the problem in question and the exact location thereof, the Ayuntamiento will send technicians to these incidents at the appropriate area to proceed in the shortest time possible to take steps to mitigate or rectify these problems.

The delegate deputy mayor for Family, Jose Luque, added in this respect that "it is a measure aimed at the entire population of Antequera, although of course it is specially targeted at groups of people with disabilities or limitations of any kind, including for example, single parents who find it difficult to use baby strollers on the streets of our city. " he also stressed that the aim of creating this email is "to have more direct contact with people so they can solve these problems with greater speed, with a greater efficiency in its movement and to study them by the relevant departments. "
