Age Concern, Estepona and Manilva, Golf Competition
This is the last chance for you to enter the Age Concern golf competition being held on Sunday 2nd October at El Paraiso golf. Tee-off time will be 12.30. The competition is a two ball, better ball Stableford over 18 holes. There will be prizes for the winners, nearest the pin and the longest drive. Cost of entry is 45€ per person, buggies are 10€ per person extra. The cost of entry includes a voucher for a drink and a sandwich.
Age Concern, Estepona and Manilva, Drop-In-Centre Programme
With the longer winter evenings approaching you may be looking for activities to do at home. Have you ever thought about taking up craft work as a hobby? If so, or if you would like to, Age Concern is runs a Craft Club at its Drop-In-Centre at C/Zaragoza, 25, Estepona on Friday mornings from 10.30 to 13.00 under the guidance of Julie, who concentrates on quilt making one week, and Alex who specialises in embroidery the following week.
Come along and find out how to learn the skills needed to make your winter a memorable one as you turn your hand to making Christmas presents.
There is also a Bridge Club which runs from 16.30 to 18.30 on a Wednesday – more players are needed no matter what experience you have.
