www.inmalagatoday.com is the leading bilingual news and information website covering the Malaga province. It was initially started to cover small inland towns such as Alhaurín el Grande and Coin, but has rapidly extended to cover the whole of the Malaga province. Its primary aim is to provide the ex-pat and the Spanish community’s easily accessible, accurate, reliable and up to date news, information and events in the region.
InMalagatoday.com started life approximately five years ago as alhauríntoday.com a website covering solely Alhaurín el Grande. Due to popular demand further individual websites were created for Coín, Alhaurín de la Torre, Álora, Cártama, Monda, etc., an area sadly neglected by most media forms in respect of the ex-pat community.
To maintain so many websites simultaneously proved to be unwieldy and time consuming and, because significant interest had been shown by other areas such as Nerja, Fuengirola, Marbella and others, it was decided to amalgamate all the websites into one and two years ago www.inmalagatoday.com was formed to expand the service to cover a far wider area.
Our aim is to work alongside the Ayuntamientos and foreigners departments of the province as well as other important social, business and administrative organisations including the Junta de Andalucia, Diputación de Málaga and the British Consulate so that far greater benefits can be achieved for both communities.
This, we believe, will also help to facilitate promotion within a much wider area thus helping tourism as well as local businesses and enhance the understanding of local customs and events.
