The 137 best fencers travel to Malaga for the World Cup of Wheelchair Fencing

This test will go towards the Paralympic Gamese London 2012
Malaga will host from 1st to 3rd April, the I test of World Cup Wheelchair Fencing 2011, which takes place at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos of the city with 137 entrants from 19 countries. The competition has been organised by the Ayuntamiento de Málaga and the Club de Esgrima Ciudad Jardín.
This tournament, which will towards the Paralympic Games London 2012, will include tests for all three weapons (sword, foil and saber) for both male and female, individuals and teams. In addition, athletes will participate in categories A (milder physical disabilities), B (intermediate) and C (affected), all of them in wheelchairs.
In total, 137 have signed up with international fencers from 19 countries: Germany, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Italy, Hong Kong, Korea, Poland, United States, France, Cameroon, England, Malaysia, Lebanon, Hungary, Greece, Austria , Canada and Spain.
On Friday April 1st tests will be take place for men's foil and sabre, while Saturday is devoted to two saber competitions for both sexes. Sunday 3rd the male sabre discipline will take place and the women's foil team and tournament.
World Cup Wheelchair Fencing will continue in Montreal (Canada), between 29th April and 1st May, in Lonato (Italy), between 20th and 22nd May, and Warsaw (Poland) between 30th June and 3rd July finishing at Eger (Hungary), between 9th and 11th September.
